Membership

Thank you for your interest in IGS! New members are always welcome.  Some of the benefits of joining IGS include professional development, peer networking, and opportunities to attend workshops, field trips and conferences at discounted prices.

Full members are required to have some formal training and be actively employed in a capacity as a geologist. Students are welcome as associate members and are not required to pay dues.

Annual dues are $10 and can either be mailed to the address above or paid at any IGS meeting. Make checks out to “Illinois Geological Society”.
